N Virginia Tea Parties etc

N Virginia Tea Parties etc

Dear Friends,

I know that many of you are calling Congressman Gerry Connolly’s office and inquiring about his plans for a Town Hall on the Health Care Bill.  We are all getting the same stale response:  “We are in the planning stage and when one is finalized it will be posted on Gerry’s webpage.”  However, nothing is posted after weeks of calls.

Recently, we have learned that Gerry has decided to schedule two town halls, both tightly controlled events at retirement communities, one at Greensprings in Springfield and the other in Loudon Co.  Sadly, these are GATED COMMUNITIES and these meetings are NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. I am not surprised!

WHY IS CONGRESSMAN CONNOLLY HIDING FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC?  WHY WILL HE NOT RESPOND TO OUR TELEPHONE CALLS, LEGITIMTE QUESTIONS AND OUR CONCERNS?

To be quite honest, those calling the offices of Senator Webb and Warner are getting the same tired excuses. But Senator Webb can somehow find the time to talk to the military leader of Myanmar this week, during these critical times for his constituents.

SO, IF YOU ARE AS FED UP AS I AM, PLEASE JOIN IN A TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY (TEA) PARTY, hosted by the NorthernVirginiaTeaParty (http://northernvirginiateaparty.blogspot.com/) and Tea Party Patriots (http://teapartypatriots.org/Group/Northern_Virginia_Tea_Party ).  To receive additional messages about Tea Parties please join these groups by signing up on their web pages.
