Governments Are Instituted Among Men

Please note that Jefferson said, "Men", not "laws". Governments derive their powers from the consent of the governed. We are NOT a "nation of Laws"! Get over it...we are a nation of Men who do whatever we wish with laws, including, but not limited to: enact, amend, enforce, abolish, etc.
