Matt Damon Traitor

The movie Promised Land, w/ Messr Matt Damon, was partially funded by the Abu Dhabi government. If you recall, this is the spurious movie that disparages fracking. Think there might be a wee bit 'o Abu Dhabi self-interest there. That pales in comparison to the treasonable part Damon plays! God Help Us! To Sheol, Matt Damon and don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out!

Principles of Jefferson

About to enter, fellow citizens, on the exercise of duties which comprehend everything dear and valuable to you, it is proper that you should understand what I deem the essential principles of our government, and consequently those which ought to shape its administration. I will compress them within the narrowest compass they will bear, stating the general principle, but not all its limitations.

Equal and exact justice to all men, of whatever state or persuasion, religious or political;

peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations — entangling alliances with none;

the support of the State governments in all their rights, as the most competent administrations for our domestic concerns and the surest bulwarks against anti-republican tendencies;

the preservation of the general government in its whole constitutional vigor, as the sheet anchor of our peace at home and safety abroad;

a jealous care of the right of election by the people — a mild and safe corrective of abuses which are lopped by the sword of the revolution where peaceable remedies are unprovided;

absolute acquiescence in the decisions of the majority — the vital principle of republics, from which there is no appeal but to force, the vital principle and immediate parent of despotism;

a well-disciplined militia — our best reliance in peace and for the first moments of war, till regulars may relieve them;

the supremacy of the civil over the military authority;

economy in the public expense, that labor may be lightly burdened; the honest payment of our debts and sacred preservation of the public faith;

encouragement of agriculture, and of commerce as its handmaid;

the diffusion of information and the arraignment of all abuses at the bar of public reason;

freedom of religion;

freedom of the press;

freedom of person under the protection of the habeas corpus; and trail by juries impartially selected — these principles form the bright constellation which has gone before us, and guided our steps through an age of revolution and reformation.

Most of my GOP friends are understandably incensed by this imposter in office, whose name I can hardly speak. Keep in mind though [cont.]

those of us who are real democrats, not “progressives” aka Socialists are beyond incensed. Real democrats stick to the principles of Jefferson, as the father of our party. What this fool has done to my party is criminal, notwithstanding what he has done to this country. Being 8th generation, I’ve been given an understanding of the meaning of the Constitution that unfortunately cannot be comprehended by our newer imports, including this impostor. They simply do not give the Constitution a moment’s thought, sadly.

Without the Constitution, there would be no United States and nothing worth defending. Think about that for a moment; really think [cont.]

about it. Is that not true? Then why don't some of our newest imports understand that? They cannot, I'm afraid. I am 8th generation [1718]. It was ingrained in us, indelibly, why we are here - my forbears’ spilt blood in the revolution as did their brothers and cousins, and every war thereafter. Some of my forbears’ cousins have been here for 12 generations. I can practically assure you that none of us who have been here for that many generations are willing to give up what distinguishes us from all else - the Constitution, Bill of Rights inclusive. The Constitution would not have been adopted sans the Bill of Rights. This debate over the 2nd Amendment must be between those of us who have been here for the long haul vs. our newer imports who wish to recreate us in the image of the cesspools from which they came, underline CESSPOOLS. They have not been washed in the blood. I am reminded of Jefferson's quote seen in the Rotunda of his memorial, "I have sworn on the Altar of God, eternal enmity against tyranny over the mind of Man." Underline GOD, upon which this Republic was founded. My more recent forbears despised the land from which we came and resented continually being drawn into their tribal squabbles –WWI and WWII. I believe they were onto something. We were Welsh and had been placed under the thumb of those tyrants of the Crown. That makes us even more vehement.

Illegal Immigrants Boycott New Arizona SB 1070

Illegal immigrants are boycotting Arizona by the thousands, showing their outrage with Arizona's controversial new SB-1070 law by moving elsewhere. The effects of the exodus are being felt by Arizona retailers, who are reporting dwindling sales of beer, spray paint, and ammunition. Also hit hard are the state hospitals, which have reported a dramatic decline in births and emergency room visits. Tattoo parlors are in a state of panic :-)
